Use confirmed for first-party documentation, reported for credible secondary coverage, speculated for unresolved claims, and template-example for demonstration content.
The goal is not bureaucracy. The goal is to make future edits safer. A contributor should be able to inspect a field and understand whether it can be asserted in schema, whether it belongs only in visible editorial copy, or whether it should be omitted until better evidence exists.
When adapting the template, keep this policy even if the niche changes. The labels may change, but the distinction between sourced data and placeholder examples should remain.
